Disinfection Technology As water consumption for public, industrial and domestic applications increases, the need becomes more urgent for water treatment systems more oriented towards recycling. As the last stage in the treatment process, disinfection then becomes particularly important. Here, a reliable dosing system is required if disinfectants are to be used responsibly in the water. For this purpose, the research and development at Lutz-Jesco has produced system solutions that have international validity. For the disinfection of drinking water, swimming and wading pool water, process water, cooling water and waste water, different methods are used. These differ in their technical construction and in the type of chemicals used. Our systems are designed to DIN standards and ensure optimum water quality through precisely measured disinfection. We apply our know-how and experience to find the best solution - technically and scientifically. |
Chlorine dioxide systems (diluted solutions) Chlorine dioxide has highly effective properties as a disinfectant. It is considerably more effective than chlorine and does not produce any hazardous by-products in the disinfection process. Because of its volatility, chlorine dioxide should be produced just beside the consumer. This is ensured by Lutz-Jesco systems with a high reliability and precision. Depending on system capacity and the degree of disinfection required, the systems can use either diluted or concentrated solutions. |
Chlorine electrolysis systems Safe, reliable & efficient on-site generation of sodium hypochloriteEASYCHLORGEN electrochlorination systems provide an on-demand supply of <1.0% sodium hypochlorite solution, generated through the electrolysis of diluted brine solution. The combination of storing low strength solution, the avoidance of chemical deliveries, handling and operator involvement significantly reduce the likelihood of any accidental spillage. |
CHC dosing station The use of calcium hypochlorite (CHC) in water disinfection provides the user with a range of advantages such high storage stability and an only low level of chlorate development. Lutz-Jesco CHC dosing stations enable the simple and safe production of the hypochlorite solution without the user needing to come into direct contact with chemical. The granules are dissolved in normal water directly in the delivery package via a filler unit. The air mixer integrated in the dosing pump (from our MAGDOS series) renders other measures such as stirring or turning the packaging unnecessary. The hypochlorite solution can be added directly to the process water. |
